NZ Women's Masters

The NZ Women’s Masters took place at Waiuku Golf Club between 5th – 7th April.

The team that represented Hawkes Bay & Poverty Bay Women was:

Clare Choi (Maraenui Golf Club)

Martha Manaena (Hastings Golf Club)

The competition is gross stableford off scratch with the best 3 of 4 scores counting each round for the team.  The team got their week underway with their practice round before the tournament started. It proved invaluable information with the pros tips coming in handy as some of the team had not played at Waiuku before. There were alot blind shots that were great for the team to see before the tournament started.

The course was setup well with the greens very challenging for the team with the bounce of the ball on the firm ground making for a challenging week. Overall the team enojyed the week with Team Manager Martha Manaena very proud of the teams performance coming away 9th equal in the team standings.
