Coronation Cup Finals 2020

The finals of the Coronation Cup were held at Dannevirke Golf Club on 27^th/28^th November. Dannevirke Golf Club was very nicely able to host. Some windy conditions greeted the players on Saturday and Sunday bought the rain in the morning for the last round.

The teams competing this years final was Hastings, Pongaroa, Waipawa & Te Pohue.

The final results were:

1^st: Pongaroa – 6pts – 27.5 Games

2^nd: Te Pohue – 3pts – 14.5 Games

3^rd: Hastings – 2pts – 15.0 Games

4^th: Waipawa – 1pt – 15.0 Games

Pongaroa were the runaway victors for 2020 with 3 team wins and 27.5 game points earned out of a possible 36. It was great to be able to play this prestigious event which is always well supported by every club each year.
